About Steve Dixon

Steve Dixon is an author and poet based in London, soon to be heading up to Cumbria for the next step in life’s adventure. He’s engaged to his partner Ruth, the father of four girls and a proud Grandad (“Grumps”) to four grandchildren, all under four.

Steve began writing seriously during lockdown, finding that getting words onto the page was a better way to let thoughts out than leaving them to fester in his head. Since then he has written children’s stories and poetry, and dreams of creating enough of a “big break” to make a living from his fiction.

His favourite thing about being a writer is knowing that his words can make even one person happy.
