Issue #2 (Speculative Fiction Edition) is available for order on our store.

Issue #3 (PRIDE Edition) is available for order on our store.

Issue #4 (Christmas Edition) is open for submissions. Due for publication 1 December August, 2025.

What We Are Looking For:

• Short Stories (2500 words, max)
• Flash Fiction
• Poetry
• Non-fiction (2500 words, max)
• Theme: Christmas/Winter
• Genre: Any

Submissions for the Christmas Edition are open NOW and close on 1st November, 2025.

About Poems, Tales, & Other English Words

This is our quarterly literary magazine! The goal is to share amazing stories from brilliant writers.

There are no submission fees, and the digital version of the magazine will be made available for free for everyone upon release.

A paperback copy is available from our store at cost, and that money goes towards making the next edition! (For example, we currently outsource to a professional graphic designer for formatting, etc!)
