About us
Big Thinking Publishing: School of Writing is an independent UK-based organisation dedicated to supporting writers from first ideas through to publication. We work closely with libraries, writing groups, schools and local organisations to offer clear, structured guidance in both creative writing and the publishing process.
Whether you’re a brand-new writer, a student on a creative course, or a group leader planning an annual programme, the School of Writing gives you a structured pathway forward – without jargon or gatekeeping.
Workshops
Our core workshop programme can be delivered online or in person. Each one-hour session is led by an experienced publishing professional, includes supporting materials and follow-up resources, and can be adapted for your group’s level.
